Is there a reset for the Voice Separator plugin?

When using Voice Separator plugin, sometimes the wav file produced is the same for max dialogue as it is for max background. Is there a way to reset the this plugin?

Obviously I don’t know how to use these forums to my advantage!
I was recording a chpt noise (background) audio with the Vioce separator plugin set to 100% Background and then a chpt voice (Dialogue) using the Voice separator plugin set to 100% Dialogue. The source audio is Chpt1 for the first chapter andChpt2 for the second chapter, etc.
You can see that the Chpt1_Noise and the Chpt1_Voice are identical. Chpt2_Noise and Chpt2_Voice responded appropriately capturing mostly background and mostly dialogue respectively. The same for Chpt3_Noise and Chpt3Voice - although it screwed up at the end and created identical background and identical dialogue, so I had to re-record the tail end.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hey, maybe a dumb question but can you explain why you are two using identical tracks with the same plugin with opposite settings in realtime? Especially since the plugin has the option to choose a mix between source and noise?
Is writing automation not easier to do? And if it is not, why not simply render the 2 tracks completely to circumvent issues (you would see the voice levels and the background noise levels and any mistakes).

kflnk2020: Not such a dumb question! My editor wanted more background noise. I did start out by rendering, but was unsatisfied with the result. I’m not an expert at writing automation, although perhaps it’s time to buckle down and see it through. I can see now that writing automation would have solved the plugin’s inconsistencies. Also I was on a tight deadline … but that’s just an excuse.
