Is there a fast shortcut for (main view) cubase events to get quick fade ins/out with one shortcut?

It’s “A” = adjust fade to range. Just select a range at the beginning to create a fade-in in the range, select the end of an audio event to create a fade-out, or select the middle of an event to create both fade in/out.

However, “select a range” I never really work with that.
Can I not just select a whole event, press something, and there will be a short fade in and out.
Interesting would be: if I press the letter/key longer, the fade will be longer and longer…
