Hi developers, it would be very useful if we could know a color number of a certain selected track or event so that we could easily colorize tracks of the same type later on with the same color without having to try and match among several shades.
If you Shift + Click onto a Track Symbol (so The Piano Keys on Instrument Tracks or the Fader Icon of the Group Tracks) it will show you which color is selected in the color palette.
If you want to know the Color Code you can go to Project → Project Color Setup and look up the RGB code of every color available in your project.
Yes it is possible to know the selected track color, but not the selected event or marker color.
It would be very useful to be able to know the selected event/marker color to the speed the workflow and keep consistency in the arrangement when using a big color palette.
Also, when using the ‘Divide Track List’ it is very annoying to verify each time that there is no marker or event selected in the upper list before changing an event color in the lower list and vice versa. Pressing Shift CTRL/Command+A should unselect all events, in the lower list and in the upper list.
