anyone know if , there a quick way to find the pitch for say a sub or low kick ? not vari audio , but just a scan of a selected audio file/region?

Many modern FFT analysers will not only display frequency, but pitch, too.
EDIT: Nuendo’s built-in “Audio Statistics” might help, too:
