Is there a way to change my Launchkey MK4 fader behaviour for the Cubase (14) mixer to pick-up?

I’m just getting my head round using external controllers for the mixer so apologies if this is a silly question.

I have got a Novation Launchkey MK4 49 controller and I want the faders to control the mixer faders using a pick-up mode. So if the fader is at -10, and the channel fader is at -3 (for example if I have just changed the selected track to a different block of 8), I want the fader to not influence the channel fader until it is pushed up to -3.

The current behaviour is some kind of scaled transition. As the fader is moved, the mixer fader moves in the same direction but scaled so that the two “meet up”. I am using the default cubase controller settings/mappings for the Launchkey.

The device itself lets you change the behaviour between jump and pick-up, but neither of these match the current behaviour, and changing the setting doesn’t change the behaviour in any way. I assume this is for when the faders are used for other things like quick controls or controlling plugin parameters.

If I double click on the fader in MIDI Remote, it shows that" “scaled” is the selected behaviour, but I can’t edit this. See picture below.

Thanks in advance for any advice provided!

SOLVED!

I duplicated the mapping and even though the option is still greyed out initially, if you reassign it, then it becomes ungreyed and you can select pickup from the dropdown menu.
