Is there a way to easily match up Envelopes in GA6 unlike GA5

GA5 envelopes were very frustrating to work with, especially if doing multi-layer work.

IN GA5:

  • There’s no easy way to reset them to default it seems
    • There should be a way to reset each individual envelope
  • You can’t copy-paste from one layers envelope into the other
  • Once the envelopes across multiple layers fall out of sync, there’s no getting them back at least not easily… You pretty well need to start from scratch

GA 6 has a Save Shape option for Pitch | Filter | Amp |

There are set shapes defined by the App and you can save and store your own, they can all be applied to all sounds/samples/layers on the pad as a whole or individually, by using Pad or Select option.

To reset each envelope for each layer on a pad → Have SELECT option ON, choose Layer, Select the default Envelope shape in the Save Shape List.

Thanks for the answer! That remedies some headaches and is better than GA5…but…

Hopefully there is an easier way now or in the future that doesn’t require the saving of a shape for a menial copy/paste task that doesn’t need to be saved as a preset.
