Hello I am using Cubase SX and I typically do a lot of layering for vocals. Typically I use a looper to layer vocals (usually line by line which takes forever).
I was wondering if there is a way to layer takes on one track rather than multiple…this may be a silly question but I figured I would ask.
The reason i ask is because it seems when I create and record too many tracks it is an overload of information and my sound card begins to crackle and pop. I figure layering on one track alone would use less information.
Is this even possible?
