Is there a way to make Wavesfactory Trackspacer work in Cubase Elements 10?

hi everyone and a happy new year.

I’ve searched the internet for lots of hours, but haven’t found any actual reply to this one:

Is there a way to make Wavesfactory Trackspacer work in Cubase Elements 10?
I have bought it, installed the VST3version, but just because CB Elements does not support sidechaining,
this plugin doesn’t seem to be doing anything at all.
Although i’ve read the manual, seen YouTube videos,
I’m not able to pull any kind of function from it really…

Has anyone ever succeeded to make it work in Elements? To get any sort of function from it.

I’d be glad to know how!

thanks in advance for your time

Welcome to the forums

Since Trackspacer requires a sidechain signal in order to function, then you have to use a program that can supply it that signal. Elements will not do that.

Thanks raino for your time to answer this.

Yeah, unfortunately this is what happens,
I was just hoping for a miraculous workaround,
in order to be able to use this really useful (when you have sidechain in your DAW) plugin.
Like there’s a guy on YouTube Andre Kr who has coded the “mscc” compressor and actually found a way to do sidechaining in CB elements (I used his trick successfully).

Anyway, I guess it’ll be another plugin standing in my collection for now.
Or maybe when it’s discounted, go for Artist 10.

Thx
