Is there a way to toggle on/off "hidden" for Playing Techniques with a hotkey?

I have a bunch of custom choral playing techniques that trigger key switches from the Sunset Choir library to switch the vowel that is playing back. That way I can enter my custom “Oo” or “Ah” playing technique to hear Sunset Choir switch from an Oo to an Ah. For engraving though, I don’t need the playing techniques to be seen, in fact–they shouldn’t be seen because the lyrics tell the singers what to sing. I am trying to figure out how to hide all of my playing techniques in the most quick and efficient way.

For right now, my solution is to Ctrl+A (highlight the entire score), use my custom hotkey (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P) to filter the selection to only highlight Playing Techniques, Ctrl+8 to open the bottom screen properties panel, and then manually clicking the “Hidden” toggle. The clicking is what slows me down the most and I am wondering if there’s either a hotkey I don’t know about, or if I can set a custom one. I have dug around deep into the key commands and I cannot find an option to assign a combination to this toggle.

Let me know if there’s something I am missing. If not, then to Steinberg, consider this a feature request lmao.

I’m away from my computer, but I believe the command you’re looking for is “toggle hide element [or item?]”, and it works for playing techniques and text.

Hmm… When I search for that it comes up with “toggle hide stem” and “toggle hide notehead”. I don’t see any “toggle hide ____” that’s more broad than those. Thanks for the reply.

It’s called Hide/Show Item in the Jump Bar.

… and I immediately created a shortcut for it - thanks.

thanks boo :biting_lip:
