Is there an easier way to flip stems?

Using the following command for a large number of notes is really too cumbersome

Choose Edit > Notations > Stem > Force Stem Up. (Force Stem Down)

And, I cannot find a way to select more than one note to flip the stems in one go!

Is there a better way? In Finale I’d just press the letter “L” to freeze the stem in the opposite direction.

EDIT: To select multiple notes & flip their stems: Hold Command and select desired notes then press F

f is the shortcut (flip). Works for many other things too.

Lifesaver this is.

Many objects respond to F (Flip). eg. You can flip dynamics and staff text from one side of the staff to the other.
