I tried IC Pro but it can’t give me any track detail/ waveform views, just coloured thin lines, which isn’t much use. Can Cubasis act as a controller with more detail for one man band remote control? If not, is there a better alternative?
I would also like to know the answer to this. Be great if Cubases/IC could remotly control Cubase 14 from somewhere else in the control room.
You’d think there’d be some response from Steinberg, but nothing. It’s such a last decade, normal, obvious and easy request for basic functionality, but as ever, (and I’ve been a Steinberg User and customer for 30 years) no response and the usual disdainful disrespectful silence. We’re in the era of AI and unimaginable coding evolution and Steinberg can’t even respond to a customers response about a basic bit of remote control in their apps. Soon, AI will come along and negate the need for Steinbergs apps and I won’t be bothered, just like they can’t be bothered.
Hi @JS11, Hi @JACKnight
Thanks for your message.
Cubasis does not offer any remote control options to control Cubase.
As of yet, Cubase iC Pro is our solution to remote control Cubase.
To learn more about what Cubasis offers, please take a look at the Cubasis website:
Best wishes

Thanks, it’s not very good at all though is it? Isn’t Steinberg in 2025 ashamed of this? They should be. There should be an app like IC Pro (lol) that shows the various Cubase windows and views on the app as they appear on the actual computer screen in the main app. I mean it’s embarrassing that it doesn’t, not even updated nearly regularly, it’s just an example of how Steinberg views its patrons and customers, and it’s been the same for decades. Pathetic, you ought to be ashamed..
Hi @JS11
Thanks for your message!
We do our best to clearly describe the features of our apps in the App Store and Google Play descriptions, as well as on our product websites.
In addition, we offer several tutorials through our Mobile Apps channel to help users get started quickly and understand the app’s features in more depth. These resources are designed to provide a clear overview of what to expect from the app.
We also actively monitor the forum and provide ongoing support—as you can see yourself here in the Cubasis forum.
We’re sorry to hear that the app may not meet your needs, and we hope you find a solution that meets your expectation.
Below, please find the Apple support article which explains the steps how to request a refund for apps or content you’e bought from Apple.
Hope that helps.
Warm regards,
Lars
