Hi!

I would like to record from mediabay when i browse trough different samples in realtime to an audiofile? I have a folder with different sounds i would like to record. Whould be so god if this was possible to do.

Does your audio interface have a loopback function?

This is not possible directly in Cubase because the previewing is output on an inaccessible channel.
If you want to record it you’ll have to take the signal from your audio interface and route it back into the interface. Maybe it works via loopback, maybe it requires a cable connection. However, I have no idea if Cubase even allows to be in recording mode while browsing media files.

If it doesn’t you’d need to record it using another program like Audacity. Or, last I checked, you can run 2 different versions of Cubase (like 15 & 14) at the same time.
