Hi, I want to install 6.5 on my laptop as well as my desktop. I understand I am allowed to do this and just have to swap the eLicenser dongle over. Problem is I bought 6.5 as a digital download and seem to have deleted the original file (idiot!). I cannot see anywhere on my steinberg to get it again so I wondered if I installed the 6.5 trial version I could then make it a full version by inserting the dongle?
Yes. I was running the demo, then bought the full license. Never uninstalled or reinstalled anything.
The only thing missing in the demo download are the tutorial videos, if one really needs those.
