I just got a CC1 and no it does not work with Wavlab at all. It requires Cubase 15 or higher or Nuendo 14 or higher.

It even doesn’t work properly with Cubase/Nuendo, as it’s not adjustable! (there is thread on the Nuendo page about this very weird Yamaha release…)

Having said this: midi control is a very weak point of WaveLab. It’s a pity WL can’t take over Steinbergs brilliant Midi Remote. That would allow for in the box mastering with physical control of knobs and buttons.

It works really great with Cubase 15 pro but it is not as customizable as you’d expect that is true. It works fanstatic and the automation curves from using the fader as nice and smooth and I have been very happy with it. It has room to improve but the software i only at 1.0 so we’ll see
