Issue - C14 Crash when changing VST or deleting an instrument track

I started a new project from a template. The template was newly created before my last project. One instrument track was setup with Air DB-33. I attempted to switch to a different VST and Cubase crashed. Here’s that dump file.

I started Cubase again and loaded the project again. This time I thought I’d just delete the offending track, but Cubase crashed again. Here’s that dump file.

I started again and this time I hid the track and continued to work. I’ll just do that if there’s no obvious solution…

I had a similar situation with the old template. The new one was build from scratch.

These are weird ones, as both crashes seem to originate from a Windows library, namely win32u.dll, so not directly related to Cubase or a plugin.
First thing I would do is do a system file check to see whether system files are corrupted:
