[ISSUE] CP8 crashes when selecting MIDI parts

Hi there,

  1. Open track
  2. Group select some MIDI parts and hit M to mute
  3. The parts mute
  4. Try to select further parts to mute
  5. CP8 crashes out every time when I select those parts (they are StylusRMX parts)

ok, update. It seems to be this one RMX track that I cannot even select as a whole track. As soon as I click on its track header in the arrange window, or any of its parts along the timeline, CP8 crashes. I can’t even select it to delete it!

Any ideas how to get out of this?

SOLVED

It was RMX. I removed the instance, re-added it, set it all up again and it now doesn’t do it.

I’ll report back if this instance goes bad

Not solved, and not an RMX issue, the exact same thing happens to me with VEP. The solution is the same, but it keeps happening again and again after session is close and re-opened.

Not solved, too.
The same problem happens to me with KONTAKT.
It is really stressful, for I can’t even select the track involved, because when I select either the region or the track CP8 crushes.

Same here with Kontakt 5 and Omnisphere (both official licence, no crack).
