Issue - Cubase 14 14.0.41 - newly created group channels appear inactive

Hello,

I would like to report the following bug.

Windows 10 Pro
Cubase 14 v 14.0.41

It usually happens when I have completed my work, and I am at the very tail end of the project.

I was exporting some tracks, and for reasons I didn’t understand, Cubase was crushing.

After the crash, I restarted Cubase, and upon creating a group track, said track appeared inactive. To make it work, I had to reactivate the group channel, the same way I was reactivating a disabled track.

As I carried on with my work, the issue worsened: group channels not only were inactive when created but also stopped having the volume function, and I could not fix it unless I copied the group tracks over and over.

The issue was jumping to an empty session, but it did not happen to other sessions that did not seem to have this problem.

The issue seems to be jumping to some other sessions, where others were fine. The issue even jumped from Cubase 14 to Cubase 15.

Here is what I am seeing (Group 16):

As I moved away from the (what I think was) corrupted session file, the problem went away.

I tried deleting preferences repeatedly, but this action didn’t solve the issue.

With thanks.
