Using Cubase pro 11 . Trying to drag and drop onto an audio track, a wav from Windows 11 explorer , Apple iCloud folder, the wav is still cloud based , not downloaded. Causes a total freeze of Cubase and then total windows meltdown , black screen after ending the Cubase task via ctrl, alt, delete
I guess is trying to load a file that’s not really there and has to be downloaded
so cubase waits for the file, probably sees a part of an unfinished file like a corrupted file but not as it will usual be and crashes.
windows wait because cubase is not the default app for downloading files through cloud, probably explorer is, so exporer freezes too thus the black screen, etc
