Issue GA5 not saving Load Panel columns Correctly

PC Win 11 everything updated.

When editing Groove Agent 5, load panel columns to:

After restart of Cubase, I see this:

Clearly the column headers are not being saved correctly. I have found no button for “save column headers”

Can someone repro please.

1] Edit column headers in Load Panel.

2] take a pic or record your entries

3] Open and Close Cubase

Do the they remain the same?

Is there a work around please?

After you have edited the headers in the Load Panel go to the top of the load panel where it allows you to select and save presets. Save whatever you’ve just configured as something like “Result Column Order”. Whenever you open GA5 just select that preset and the columns should show as configured for all kits.

I’m not sure if this is the most elegant way to do it, but it works for me.

Hi Guys,

Basically, it should be saved with the project file in the GA preferences. Could be there is a conflict with your permissions. Please get in contact with our Support Department.

This seems to have worked - ish. Thank you Easto.

Although you do have to do this four times, one for each file type, pattern, instrument, MIDI and Style.

It definitely needs to be redesigned. Maybe just a SAVE button next to “set up default columns” button.

The manual says nothing about this matter at all

I am so impressed by Groove Agent. It’s so powerful, versatile and musically expressive.

Looking forward to GA6.

I am still finding that the column orders are not sticking correctly. Even when in the top RH corner my preset name is being shown this can be unreliable. It is easily solved though by re selecting what is already selected.

I have found that it only accepts and seems to work one config preset. I tried making several different config but only the 1 worked.

even when they say that they are loaded, the cofigs often have to be reloaded
