I don’t know why, but I was recording some takes on the same track, using Lanes on, and it appears 2 equal lanes with the same takes. When I select one it selects both…
This is the new way lanes are shown in C6. The top one shows an overview of all the lanes on that track. See Operating Manual p76.
Not sure at this stage how useful this system is. The lanes do work better, and more intuitively than C5, fewer clicks. And I def like the way Folder tracks work now.
Use of colour could be a lot better though - don’t like that selecting a part makes it BLACK and that overlaps are shown as cross-hatching.

I’m on OSX 10.6.7, Mac Pro 8 Core, Cubase 6.0.2. Having to press “Read” twice before it activates is still bumming me out.
