Cubase 11, but this issue has been around in the last three versions of Cubase and Nuendo.( I just overlooked reporting because I was waiting for the lack of controller colors to be fixed. Sigh, never happened so I’ll report this.)
Record a midi or audio track. Then add a track underneath. Any track, midi or audio it doesn’t matter. Poof! Your recently recorded track disappears. I can reproduce this pretty regularly, although I definitely wouldn’t want to. What happens is that this occurs and I suddenly notice that I’m missing my last overdub. Resulting in me hollering “WTF??” The way I get around this is to undo adding the new track and your last recording comes back. Hopefully you haven’t recorded anything on your new track because you’re gonna lose that.
Okay, got that off my chest. Sorry for not reporting years ago. This has happened on both Cubase/Nuendo running under Windows (my former OS) or Mac (my current OS)
