[ISSUE] Remove DC offset actually adds DC offset

Hi, very strange problem happening here :

Repro

  • Find a stereo audio file which contains some DC Offset (use the “statistics” function on that audio file just to be sure that it has some % of DC offset)
  • Apply “Remove DC offset” function
  • Use the “statistics” function again, you should read 0% since it has been removed.
  • False, here, it says 0% in the statistics window but I can actually see a whole lot of DC added to the image of the audio clip and double checking with Digicheck (RME) tells me that something is really wrong, I can see a huge amount of DC offset added.

Can anyone confirm this behaviour please ?

Have not yet checked on mono files.
