Hello, I would like to report an issue with Cubase Pro 14.0.10 (Windows 11 Pro).
The “Nudge Start/End” key commands do not work when using the Alt modifier and the selection tool is not enabled (or automatically modified with tool modifiers).
To replicate the issue, try assigning the “Nudge Start/End” key commands like so:
Notice how the “Nudge Start” commands work but not the “Nudge End” commands.
It works as expected on my machine. If you assing Alt + direction to Nudge Start does it also not work?

I tried different editing tool modifier preferences and the issue seems to be caused by assigning “Shared Copy” to Shift rather than the default Alt + Shift (see screenshot).
The reason I changed it is because I use Alt + Shift + Click to position the playback cursor and would accidentally move it by forgetting to select the event first.
