Issue with f/mf

I am working on a piece that has a few dynamics with a slant (slash) between them.

f/mp, mf/mp works well. Minimal issues, however f/mf does NOT seem to work, along with mp/p. It seems that if the dynamic is similar it does not work, only when the dynamic has difference is when it seems to work. Does anyone know why? Or what the workaround might be? I have several f/mf dynamics needed.

This is probably the easiest. Does it work for you?

I appreciate that. It can work. I wish it would work as a dynamic to make alignment easier, but it’ll do for now.
