OK, this might sound complicated, so I will try to make it simple.
I am using Virtual Drum Line. I setup up my own percussion score to my liking and selected all of the appropriate samples from VDL. Playback works and sounds as I expect. I saved the endpoint configuration with the name VDL FE and Battery.
I am writing for a High School Marching Band, and the wind arranger uses another notation program. The wind arranger sends me an XML file. I import the XML file to write to.
I have a playback template setup.
The issue, is that my snare line, tenor line, and bass line, load as NotePerformer and not VDL (as everything was saved), however the other percussion instruments do.
What am I doing wrong? I’ve had issues with this since as long as I remember, and now that I am in a place where I am helping others get setup it’s time I finally tackle this issue.
