I have the latest Mac OS Tahoe and Cubase 15.0.20. When importing audio (File/Import/Audio file) and show options, there are no play, stop, volume, or other buttons at the bottom right of the window.
MediaBay works fine, but I don’t like using MediaBay.
I don’t have these problems in Cubase 14.
I’ve tried everything. I reinstalled using Steinberg Download Assistant. I’ve read that the new Mac OS has different scaling and Cubase might have a problem with it. I had this problem with Cubase 12 a few years ago, but updating Cubase fixed it.
Cubase has a problem with scaling on an external 4k, 38" monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. When changing the resolution to a smaller one, e.g. 3360x1890, the buttons are visible correctly… The 16" screen in a macbook has 2056 x 1329 and works correctly there too.
I have just discovered… I can see the controls on my built-in screen. But if I move the window to the external screen (1900x1400), the controls are not present anymore.
I just discovered that when I close my MacBook’s display and only see the external screen, the buttons are visible. When I open the MacBook again, the buttons disappear.
Kris, are you able to see the audio format info which is typically located on the bottom left of the Audio Import window? I haven’t been able to see any of that since updating to the first version of Cubase 15. Now on 15.0.21, I still have nothing but a blank space there. I am running a 5K/2K monitor with which I had no such issue when running CB 14.
