Hello Dorico crew,
After Real-Time recording of simple piano piece with pedaling I have noticed that in the Play Mode, nothing appears in CC64 control lane.
Why when Import CC64 as pedal lines is activated, Dorico stops recording CC64 data in Play Mode? I would like to have the
pedal data in both places Play and Write Modes.

The problem here is that you have to decide whether you want CC64 automation events or you want pedal lines (which get converted to CC64 events on playback). You can’t currently have both, because if you edited the CC64 events then Dorico wouldn’t know how to combine it with the events from the pedal line. There are similar problems if you want to override dynamics that use mod wheel. In the forthcoming update there are some features that give you more control with dynamics, and I would expect over time that we’ll be able to extend the mechanism for other events such as pedal lines. In the meantime though you can mute the pedal line and draw in the CC events you want.
