I’m finding vocals seem to cut out (Has a feel like a gate is on, but there’s no gate) when tracking vocals. I don’t have the same problem with other DAW, but i’m finding this issue on vocals only, with Cubase Pro 13.0.10 - Mac.
I used same mic, same audio interface, same cable across the two DAW’s, but only having the issue with Cubase 13 Pro.
Anyone else having this issue?

Could you attach a screenshot of your MixConsole window with the Inserts slot expanded, please? Isn’t there any Gate in the Channel Strip?
Isn’t there any gate on your Audio Device (Control Panel)? What Audio Device do you use?
I would recomend to update to the latest Cubase 13.0.20.

Please see the attached image. SNM-Vox-01 is the track in question. You’ll notice that i have no inserts at all. There should be no Compression or Gate.
