I am still learning some aspects of Cubase and clicked on VST Connect to find out what it was. I use a Mac and the green camera light came on, it loaded, I checked it out, closed out of it and thought I was good. The green camera light never turned off and now it seems like VST Connect turns on automatically every time I open a project. I noticed my projects started to run at a snails pace, and the green light kept turning on so I assumed VST Connect was still on. I clicked the Remove VST Connect to see if that would turn it off… Big mistake. The first time it just crashed the project, so the second time I removed it and then saved the project right away. Now when I open the project I’m getting a crazy system message saying Cubase is unstable involving this file:
c /windows/system32/kernelbase.dll
If I open any other project they open but VST Connect is still turning on by default.
Any ideas! Please help! I can provide further screen shots.
PC Specs = a ~2011 Mac with top specs (32 gigs of ram etc) but it is running Windows 11 through bootcamp
