When importing audio files into a project in Cubase Pro 10.5 the audio file comes in at a slower tempo than the audio file was and also changes the key of the file. Any idea as to why it is doing this? Was told by support that Cubase Pro 10.5 was no longer supported.
Slower tempo and lower pitch are indicators that the file does not have the same sample rate as your project.
