Issues loading/ finding vst presets for Halion SE3, retrologue, padshop, Groove Agent, etc

I dunno. I would try renaming the User Settings Folder at this point and let Cubase reinitialize. That’s all I can think of at the moment.

many thanks Steve !
will try in more detail tomorrow. i had just loaded this to—day on a new machine,
I still have cubase 9 on my old pc if im pressed to use it.

if all else fails i can just uninstall the whole thing and try again with a more solid installation process— i get the feeling maybe using the downloader program to install may have contributed
to this situation…

Beee Wel Steve !

Solution to issue,

When I last upgraded to Cubase 9, all content from the Vst instruments by default were
either downloaded and installed OR halion used the older vstsounds already on the old PC

Due to the way the downloading takes place with current versions to—day,
the content files of the vsts are now in —Separate— files from the instruments.

Checked this and then installed Halion SE3 content and all preloads are now
available. Just a case of not realizing the way these downloads are arranged to—day.

Make sure to Download Content— as they do not get bundled with Halion, etc

We may consider the issue closed now,
thank you Steve for the help !
