Issues when recording MIDI from Drum Pads

I have come across two issues that I’m not sure are bugs or user error when recording MIDI into a drum part using the pads in Dorico for iPad.

  1. While recording the pads no sound is coming from them, although the notes correctly register and play back.

  2. When recording from the pads after a repeat section the notes appear several bars further on from the desired entry point. If I temporarily delete the earlier repeat barline, the notes record at the correct point. It’s as if Dorico is adding the number of bars of the repeat section when it calculates it’s entry point.

Both of these are known issues with real-time recording with the drum pads at the moment, on our list for future correction.
