I’m having issues with the Etude Elements Piano library.
“The preset could not be loaded. This can happen if the preset was saved by a newer version of this plug-in or by an incompatible plug-in.
Please, don’t display this warning again.” Thank you
first do following: Open the Steinberg Activation Manager and hold down the Shift key on your computer keyboard while you click on the Refresh License button at the top right area of that window. Then restart Dorico and see if you still get that message. In that case go to Dorico’s Help menu and select Create Diagnostic Report. The corresponding zip file please post to a reply here. Thanks
Hello Ulf,
Yes I had held the shift button while refreshing the License button.
However I had not restarted my computer which I did after your last email, because there was no mention of rebooting the computer.
And again the same message.
Is it possible the library is not installed correctly ?
Should I uninstall the Etude Elements Paint and re install it ?
Thank you for your support

Due to the sudo you will be prompted to provide your password. When typing the passwort you get no user feedback on the Terminal, just type it in and hit the Return/Enter key.
Hello Ulf,
Still didn’t work with your latest Terminal commands.
I’m sending you a log of the Terminal report.
I would like to point out a discrepancy in my Steinberg folders.
When installing updates or upgrades of Dorico software or even libraries with the Steinberg Download Assistant I always get this message :
So I use the manual way by opening the folder with the installer and has worked so far, however all the files are installed in my download folder, which is probably not the right place.
My bad, sorry, in the commands I gave you for the Terminal.app I missed to escape the spaces in the path. I’ve corrected that in my earlier posting so please copy and paste it again. I’m sorry for the hassle.
But that with the SIA also does not sound good. I wil also send you a private message via this board. Please check.
