Issues with Fabfilter pro L2

So I read in here recently about plugins not saving parameters but I’ve never had issues in the past however right now I have a huge montage (61 songs) and I’ve noticed the fabfilter pro L2 isn’t saving some changes and it randomly changed a bunch of TP settings and output levels to levels previously set. So I change them back and save the project and only some of the parameters are changed when I reopen the “save as” session. I tried closing the fabfilter gui after the change and it still reverted back to previous settings. Normally wouldn’t be a big deal for me to switch it back but this montage is so massive and well honestly I shouldn’t have to double check changes I made to a plugin parameter. Any suggestions?

I’m on a m4 mac running Sequoia and wavelab 12.

Tried on windows 11 and I can’t reproduce the issue. Pro L2 keeps settings. Did you try to save settings in Pro L2 with a new name and check if it will show / keep when you open the montage?

No problems here on Windows 10. Just used it for a large restoration project.

I’m on an m4 Mac running Sequoia OS. So you’re saying save the settings as a preset in pro l2? I have 61 songs in this montage and all 61 instances of pro l2 have different parameters, that doesn’t seem like a solution. Maybe I’m misunderstanding?

You can save for any with their name but I asked if you tried to save (just one instance) and see if it keeps the settings. Just to see if that works.

I’ve not experienced this but usually when I load most plugins, they are loaded with a Plugin Chain Preset and when I add plugins one at a time, most of them have a default starting point saved by WaveLab.

I have no idea if that helps avoid this issue but it’s the only difference I could see being a factor unless you make changes in the plugin and then just close the montage without forcing a new save before closing it.

I assume you’re using these as Clip Effects if there are 61 songs?

Thank god wavelab asks to save when closing a montage. Other than that, saving the plugin chain is very helpful in some scenarios.
