Issues with keyboard navigation in properties panel

I can tab forward through the settings in the properties panel but it appears that the Shift-TAB key combination, which is commonly used to navigate backwards, isn’t working. Is this a known issue? Or am I missing something?

Also, if I enable the offset setting it will focus on the Y input field; is there any particular reason why it doesn’t focus on the first one (the X field)? And likewise, I can’t tab back to X once Y is focused.

Oh, and it would be nice if the values could be highlighted when the inputs are focused, so that the user can type right away and overwrite the previous value, and doesn’t have to delete it manually first.

Basically you cannot practically navigate through the Properties panel via the keyboard. It’s something that we plan to make more practical in future, though it’s not something you should expect imminently.
