It happened in an instant-settings lost

It happened when I opened an Arturia instrument in a project. There was no sound—it was strange. After some troubleshooting, I opened the Arturia “MIDI Control” app, and everything froze. I tried using Ctrl+Alt+Del to regain control, but everything shut down instantly. I tried reopening “MIDI Control,” but it kept freezing, so I had to reinstall it. After restarting my PC, I opened Cubase and found it had lost its audio connections, general settings, track colors, and the list of recent projects in the Hub. I managed to recover the project itself, but Cubase’s general settings seem to be completely gone. Can anyone help me figure out if there’s a way to recover them? Thanks in advance.

Go to your system backup files and look for the Preferences backups in the locations documented on this Steinberg support page:

And then restore the latest applicable Preferences files from your backups.
