I have Cubase 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. All pro. In moment when I need, recording doesn’t work, midi doesn’t work. I have to do lot of manupulation to reboot it. At the same time I open cubase 12 and it works. It’s not first time when new virsion create more problem then it solve. Instead of 100 different products make one best. For now you have 100 different poughkeepsie products.

In most cases it’s just a tiny adjustement. It’s okay to blow off some steam 
Give us some info and we can probably sort it out. E.g., there has been a change with regard to Control Room preset’s default location. Do you work with profiles?
Anyhow, if you feel like it, provide some screenshots and context once you calmed down…

here is setup: rme babyface pro fs. When use buffer size 128 sample or 256, soundis not commint out from cubase, with buffer 512 works but obviously with latence. Tried to change all possible configuration in advanced options, didn’t help. Just some time it works, some time it doesn’t. And as you can guess it doesn’t when it needs more.
Do you by chance have an AMD Processor? There is a known issue with AMD based systems, Cubase and RME interfaces where the drivers somehow fails to initialize properly at lower buffer sizes.
The solution is to try a different USB port on your computer, preferably one on a USB hub where no other devices like keyboard or mouse are attached.
