It would be awesome to export files from one montage after another in a queue

Usually i do all of my montage exporting at the end of the mastering day,

it would be so helpful if i could set up a task queue system that exports the files from one montage, and when that is complete the next montage starts to export in a queue, this way i can just set up the queue and leave the computer to process the tasks rather than manually wait for each montage to finish before starting the next export

(exporting more than one montage at a time can cause CPU overloads on my machine)

Is this possible?

It is already possilble :slightly_smiling_face:
See the File Tabs chapter there, to check several tabs.

Then Render.

To prevent each output file from overwriting another, I recommend using Audio Montage Contextual Folders. Alternatively, you can use an advanced Naming preset.

thats excellent, thank you!

can i save the masters from each montage into their own custom folder within the project folders? I read the contextual folders but didn’t quite grasp it, thank you

Try this

thank you

if im not mistaken, that saves all of the masters from all of the montages into one customer folder, is that correct?

is there a way to save the masters from each montage in the project folder of each project (and not all together)?

No. As far as each montage is in a different folder inside the project (recommended), then the rendering will happen in a sub-folder “my_custom_folder” in each of these montage folders.

This is the easiest solution. There are other more advanced solutions, using the among scheme, that can be used to create sub-folders based on variables.
