Jazz and Classical Guitar

Here are two jazz style songs that I wrote.
I completely removed the classical guitar part and reduced the reverb. If you already listened when I had it posted as a russian folk song, I invite you to another listen. It’s shorter and cleaner.

This one is by Manuel Ponce, called Prelude VI (me playing of course!)

Comments are welcome! I am particularly interested in tips about balance of the instruments and EQ.
Sincerely,
J.L.

Hey, I recognize the Ponce. Isn’t his stuff great? It’s been a very long time for me since I played some of it, but I did enjoy it. Nice job.

I updated the “russian folk song” by removing the classical guitar section alltogether. It is just jazzy / easy listening song now. If you didn’t make it through the classical guitar section before, I invite you to another listen.

very nice clean tone and mix, bit of a bluesy edge I like but also has a melodic current.
coolness

Thanks for the compliment!
Here is another one.
