Using Noteperformer, Dorico Pro 6. The falloff jazz articulations seem to truncate notes that are a of a quarter note or less in duration, especially when tied over from the preceding measure. This configuration happens a lot in big band charts so one workaround is to have a version for playback with all of those instances extended; not ideal. The glissando techniques have a function in properties whereby the playback can be delayed incrementally: a very handy feature that would be great with the jazz articulations, which don’t seem to have that facility. Unless I’m missing something, which is quite possible. I’ve tried using “force duration” to preserve the value of tied notes but no luck so far. Does anyone else have this issue, or a better solution perhaps?

Have you worked with Played Durations in the Key Editor and still not gotten what you want?
Great suggestion, many thanks! Still a workaround tho, maybe the developers would consider adding that playback delay feature to this kind of technique?
