I am loading Jazz Articulations into my score but I am not hearing them when I go to playback my score. I am using the latest version of Dorico Pro 5. What is it that I am missing?

I think you mean articulations like scoops and falls. They are not in the Halion sonic Se sample library so far I know. You need another sample library. Wich one is the question and are more threads about on this forum. I use Noteperformer, it plays a lot of jazz articulations but the overall sound is classical and it is possible you don’t like that.
I think a lot of us are still waiting for the perfect sample library for jazz scores.
