I’m trying to get a jet whistle notation for flute in Dorico. I need a line (like a slur) to curve downwards, but not like the jazz fall-offs that are available. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!
I would add a slur (to an invisible note, if needed) and modify its curve in Engrave mode.
I would suggest a playing technique. Whether fashioning something with the editor or bringing in an SVG, definitely a playing technique. You’ll have to position them manually, but you won’t have so many of them, I’m sure.
Yeah I guess a PT is better. That way you create it once and it’s done forever (and available on other projects too).
Most importantly, it appears consistently, which would be an unnecessary pain with a deformed slur linked to nowhere.
