Jump bar?

I have two pieces in the same Dorico file. If I keep them in a single flow, how can I jump directly to bar 5 of the second piece using the Jump Bar? What command should I enter?

The first piece ends with a final barline, and the second piece begins immediately afterward.

Would it be better practice to create separate flows for each piece?

I think so. But remember that you can’t merge the separate flows if you regret it.
You can copy/paste, though, or undo.

Is there no way to use the jump bar?

Would it be better to split the flow after all the input is entered?

With one flow. If you have a barnumber change to bar 1 in the second part after the end barline, I don’t think so. With two flows, you can enter f2 b5.

Doesn’t matter.

You could add a temporary rehearsal mark and jump to that if you don’t want separate flows. Or jump to a page number.
