Just finished my second song

Hi everyone,

I’ve just finished my second song using Cubase 15 and Yamaha Vocaloid for the vocals. At the moment I’m only using my own website to host the song as I’m not sure I want to enter the world of Spotify etc just yet. I’d love to hear views from fellow forum users to see if I’m on the right track or how I might improve. Here is the link to the track on my website:

A passing thought - at the moment my songs are free to stream and download in MP3 or FLAC formats. How do people judge when their work is good enough to charge for downloads?

Hi Phil, I listened to Beautiful In the Morning. Was nice to listen to. You captured the sentiment that I think you were trying to capture. Well done. Can’t advise on Spotify. It’s a dump. Who knows? Maybe it will take off, but probably not.
