Real use of VST Live this summer, you can see the pc on the left with VSTLive open, driving the entire stage!
No FOH, no service, no sound engineer, no lights engineer!!!
All audio stacks to VSTLive, mixed and “mastered” on VST Live, then a pair of audio interface output goes directly to active PA; even no external mixer and no hardware effects.
Videos and teleprompter, IEM mixes to musicians (actions&shortcut to each musician own TouchOSC to set iem sends levels autonomously).
DMX control (here i cheated, usually i drive all inside VSTLive with dmx tracks, this time I integrated the venue fixtures with mine, and an AI algorithm on DMXDesktop wonderful DMx software to drive both my fixtures and their fixtures via USB interface, on live audio analysis real time.
Drums: stereo sent via yamaha EAD-10 (acustic mics plus triggers), and alesis pads.
Guitar: via Helix
Bass, direct input and Tonex software.
Keys: 2 keyboards as audio stacks, no vsti’s
voices: direct to audio interface preamp. All software mixed.
