Just upgraded to Cubase 10.0.20 and the Mackie Control is not recognised

I went for the upgrade to Cubase 10 as part of the anniversary marketing drive and now the Mackie Control doesn’t work. If I reopen Cubase 9.5 it still works fine. Has there been a change to accepting the defaults as a basic set up or does it no longer work with Cubase??

Hi and welcome,

Is it the real Mackie Control hardware or is it other hardware using Mackie Control protocol?

How is the hardware connected? Directly via USB? Or via MIDI over some USB device?

Could you attach a screenshot of the Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI > MIDI Port Setup, please?

Thanks for the reply I may have figured it out.

It is the Mackie MCU Pro connected connected direct via USB. Previously the default settings were all that was needed as per the first screen shot. However I tried changing the Midi in and out to the MCU Pro as it was in the drop down list as in the second screenshot and that now seems to work.

Next is on to the VST plugins :frowning:

Hi,

Yes, this Mackie Control Settings should work.

Do you mean you have a problems with VST plug-ins in Cubase 10? Make sure your all plug-ins are up-to-date, please.
