"K" Button? Feature or Bug?

Hi Folks,

I looked through the manual, and found nothing so I decided to write this post.

On the channel strip:

When I click the space between VSTi instrument name and R/W automation buttons (the space where the track number appears) the “E” button turns yellow and the “E” becomes a “K”.

I have never seen this behavior before. Is this new? A bug? I loaded 4 different VSTi and it happens with all of them.

You can see what I mean in the attached screen cap.

Thanks, Steve! Still a bit puzzled. When this happens, it mutes the VSTi channel. The only way I’ve found to make it work again is to reset it. :confused:
