Keep bit meter on screen when clicking on plugins?

I’ve noticed the bit meter won’t stay on the screen when I start editing plugins… it automatically disappears as soon as I click one. How do I keep it from doing that? - I’d rather it stay open unless I click on it to close it.

By default, this is an auto-hide window. But you can change this, drag it somewhere else and dock it there.
You may like to read the doc about the WaveLab docking system.
