Keepign auto-scroll permanently on in score editor

Hi! I’ve seen some similar topics to this, but I don’t think they address this issue. I work in score editor most of the time. While I’m playing back what I’ve written, if I make the slightest change to anything on the page - even if I just touch the score with the mouse pointer - the autoscroll stops working and I have to click it TWICE to get my page to move on. This is really annoying and I would like to find a way to stop it happening. The other posts on this subject seem, if I’ve understood correctly, to deal with disabling auto scroll, i.e. to STOP it working, whereas what I want is for it ALWAYS to work. I don’t want to hear my music continuing to play beyond the point where I can see what’s happening in the score.

Any ideas appreciated!

Steve

Hi,

In Key Editor, you can enable and disable the Suspend Auto-Scroll when Editing option. If you would disable this option, it would work, as you wish. But this option is not available in the Score Editor.

Once the Auto-Scroll becomes suspend, you can jump into the follow mode by pressing the F Key Command.

Thanks for your answer, Martin. It seems crazy that this option wouldn’t be available in score editor if it is available in key editor.
