Kemper External fx routing

Hello,

I’m new to Cubase and my routing skills are adequate to say the least. I normally record my Kemper amp through Spdif. Can I set up the Kemper as a hardware plugin w/Spdif?

When I tried and inserted the external plugin I heard the processed guitar sound on the DI track but I didn’t know how to setup the signal to be recorded? I think the way I eventually did it was created a loop with my interface. I have a antelope discrete 8 interface. Any help is appreciated.

If you want to record the external fx plugin wet signal, setup, you need to insert the external fx imto the input bus insert, not the audio track.
